Welcome

CrossWelcome to our website. Our purpose is to share information on what is happening in the church in addition to our Sunday services. The church diary will be updated on a regular basis together with our magazine ‘Y Gorlan’ which is published four times a year.

The website will also have links with other websites both local and nationally and I trust you will enjoy the contents of our website. Better still why don’t you join us on Sunday. In additon to the information on the left, information about forthcoming Special Services and events can be found on the ‘Services’ page.

You will receive a very warm welcome, and please join us for tea and a chat at the conclusion of our morning services to get to know us better.

About Us

Sunday 5th November 2006 was an important date in our history. This was the Sunday when the United Welsh Church in Central London was formed after years of discussions between Tabernacle Kings Cross, Radnor Walk, Chelsea (Union of Welsh Independent churches) and Castle St (Welsh Baptist church).

Why did the churches unite? Because we believed that this was the will of God and that uniting would make us more effective in our witness. It was not an easy decision and it was only after much prayer and discussion that we combined to meet the challenge of reaching out to Welsh people who live in London.

Our services are bi-lingual because this allows us to reach out in more than one direction.
Come and worship with us. You are assured of a warm welcome.

Mission statement

The Welsh Church of Central London exists to offer a spiritual home to Welsh people in London and to foster spiritual growth and development through
